Hi! I’m Tina and welcome to my site! My mission is to help people reduce stress and create more joy in their lives. I do this by offering information, products, and programs that I have found to be helpful in my own life and in the lives of my friends.
The holiday season is a perfect time to connect and make memories with friends, family, and your community. Unfortunately, I and many of my friends have also found holidays to be extremely stressful. I’ve gone through many holidays feeling tired and grumpy because I was trying to cram too many activities into too short a time. My needs got pushed to the back burner. I didn’t sleep or exercise enough, and then I would overindulge on all the holiday sweets and treats friends would bring and I would make. Talk about a recipe for disaster! I’d wake up on New Year’s Day feeling like I needed a month to recover!
Thankfully, I’ve changed my ways. I’ve learned how to do holidays well. I’ve learned how to take care of myself so I can enjoy the holidays fully while maintaining my pre-Thanksgiving weight and feeling great all season. And that’s what I teach others to do in my “Healthy Mama’s Healthy Holidays” Program. (Learn more about the program here.)
You know, marriage can be a great source of stress, joy, or a mix of both. My own 15-year marriage has had its share of ups and downs. My husband and I are extremely different and have had to work hard to figure out how to create our own real-life “happily ever after”. And frankly, I don’t want you to have to go through what we’ve been through.
That’s why I wrote Bridging the Gap: How to Create More Emotional Intimacy in Your Marriage and its support program “Rejuvenate Your Marriage in One Month or Less” (February 2018).
